This Hong Kong Marathon medal is made of zinc alloy and measures 75 mm in diameter. The surface color is applied using a spray-painting process, and the recessed areas of the medal are filled with baked enamel. Designed for marathon events, this product falls under the category of competition medals and can also be customized to meet specific event requirements.
At 75 mm diameter, the medal feels substantial in the hand, making it ideal for displaying event logos and commemorative messages. Zinc alloy was chosen to facilitate die-casting the raised patterns and edge contours on the front, creating clear dimensional depth.
Two complementary techniques are used for surface coloring: spray painting and baking. Spray painting provides the base color, while baking is applied to the filled areas, ensuring clear color separation. The initial order for this batch is 5,000 medals, with a production cycle of 15 days.
As a manufacturer of zinc alloy medals, we handle everything in-house—from mold making to coloring. As a direct manufacturer of marathon medals, we can customize medal designs and color schemes to match the event’s theme.
